Patrick Swayze, most known for his roles in Dirty Dancing and Ghost, passed away "with family at his side" on September 14, 2009, at age 57, twenty months after being diagnosed with stage-four pancreatic cancer.

Hey, didn't know the guy and never watched any of his stuff, but credit and respect is to be given where they are due.

"I dream that the word 'cure' will no longer be followed by the words 'it's impossible'. Together, we can make a world where cancer no longer means living with fear, without hope, or worse". - Patrick Swayze

R.I.P Patrick Swayze August 18, 1952 – September 14, 2009

Moving on to a lighter topic now.

Today's question: This guy was born in South Africa to Canadian parents. Moved to Saskatchawan for a while, then to Vancouver and then settled down in British Columbia where he lead a pretty normal life... until 2004 when he came and won 2 nba mvp awards. Who is this guy?
