Ooh, Battle Fantasia, a relatively unknown fighting game created by Arc System Works, creators of Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. It doesn't follow Arc's style in a sense that it is slow paced and doesn't take the battle into the air too often. It feels more like Street Fighter. I would have rated the story but... silly me I went and got the Asian imports, urgh, no English to speak of. The boss, The End of Deathbringer, is terribly cheap, but thankfully he can be exploited relatively easily. SNK Boss Syndrome? Definitely. He's like Igniz. A tough ass at first but once you figure out the formula to beat him he's pretty easy.



Hey! I actually got KOF XII! All these days I've been whining about how it costs way too much for what it features. Was I right? Definitely. The game is basically a direct arcade port to the consoles. They threw in 2 characters, Mature and Elisabeth, and a practice mode, that's about it. The arcade mode isn't too amazing either. 5 stages, that's it. So how far did SNK go with their SNK Boss Syndrome this time? Well... they didn't go anywhere. I mean you can't go far with SNK Boss Syndrome if you don't have a boss in the first place now can you? That's right, SNK have done the unthinkable, they didn't add in a boss. Personally I'm okay with this. I'd rather have no boss than fight Omega Rugal Mk II at the end.

Don't get me wrong, I've been ranting for so long but the game itself has a great and simple system, and the graphics are definitely a spectacle, but in my opinion falls short to BlazBlue's graphics. Final verdict? Purchase only if cheaper, do not get at full price (I got mine at nearly half price)

So WWE released Jeff Hardy (just in case you didn't know). It was supposedly to let him heal his injuries including two herniated discs in his spine and some restless legs disorder. I'm not so sure about this decision. They could have just given him some time off. I mean...



Remember him? Some time back WWE released Kurt so that he could heal his own injuries. Only a few weeks later he signed on for TNA wrestling.

So...releasing Jeff, good decision or bad decision?

Liverpool 6-1 Hull City
ouch. Torres scored first. Then Geovanni equalised barely 2 minutes later (dammit Carra and Skrtel what's going on back there?). Then Torres goes rampant and earns his hat-trick before getting subbed off. Gerrard then scores a freak goal, and I mean FREAK goal. He curls the ball from the outside of the left side of the penalty box into the far post (it was pretty obvious he was just crossing the ball in hoping for someone to get it). Babel came on for Torres... and scored 2 goals? Babel's on a roll here. But his second goal, he scored off of his... calf? Riera runs into the penalty box, where the ball was landing, kicks the ball as hard as he possibly can and the ball kind of deflects of Babel, who is jogging past. The ball curls up & over poor Craig Myhill.

The rest of the Big 4 win, except for...

Chelsea 1-3 WIGAN!?
What the? Chelsea lose their 1st match... to WIGAN!? The turning point is when Cech gets sent off for taking down Rodallega in the penalty box. But still... Wigan? By two goals? I mean at least Man United kept some of their dignity when they lost to Burnley by only one goal, they could at least say it was lucky. Chelsea lost DECISIVELY to Wigan.

I personally think that the scariest person is the crazy black guy from Madonna's vid (Check 0:28... you'll know what I mean).

Seriously though, obese women shouldn't try to act sexy and uh... aging women shouldn't dance like 16 year-old strippers. Oh well, at least Madonna looks the part...

The music is still pretty good though. Celebration has a pretty sick beat and is great for clubs while Heavy Cross has uh... Beth Ditto. She's someone you listen to to enjoy, not... you know... see.

THE STREAK
Had a cool down yesterday. It started up again today. But guess what? It didn't restart on MTV Made! It restarted on Keroro Gunsou a.k.a. Sgt. Keroro. An episode featuring Fuyuki and Momoka. Chances are an episode featuring Natsumi, Giroro and Saburou is coming up. If you don't understand what I mean then I recommend you to watch the show or read the manga. Comedy gold for all ages... or you could be a cheapo and read wikipedia. The choice is yours.

"The Streak" appeared in other areas too. Linked to Akif a.k.a. Espionage in a way. He sort off opened my eyes to other songs by The Killers. I enjoyed one song in particular, Mr. Brightside. Old but hey, I got hooked. So... if you don't know the meaning to this song, check here

Poker Cards and KFC Revisited... with Laptops

Another day out with Enoch at KFC Admiralty... this time with our laptops

1st Game: Super Casino Special
Yeah Enoch played Let It Bet on the game. It's a modified version of poker and he kinda owned. Straights and flushes here and there. The multipliers vary though. Here's an example of what happens. Enoch bets 3 chips worth $1000. He wins via Flush. Dealer pays him back 30 times what he bet PER chip, so uh... you do the math

2nd Game: GTA
Randomly running around punching people? yup fun. But eventually moved on to...

3rd Game: Counter-Strike 1.6
We have Source but played 1.6. Why? Because Source has auto-team balance and doesn't allow us to do sh!t like...

2 vs 16! Me and Enoch vs 16 Knives-only Expert bots. It's pretty lame when you play in De_Dust or any other regular maps because of our range advantage. So we nullified that by playing in cramp ass fy_poolday. Definitely had fun here... even though our asses were getting handed to us (I mean... headshot knife wth?).

Wait, why did we go KFC in the first place? Irritate poor Mohan again? Nah. We were celebrating the reception of our 1st semester GPA results! uh... then again no, we were just there to irritate Mohan.

My magical GPA: 3.78
meh... everyone can do this nowadays anyway, nothing compared to Enoch's godly 3.92.

Today got friends over to Rockband hell yeah! Me, Ish, Akif and Ding Yang, dubbed by Akif as "The Poseurs". Maybe we should call ourselves "The Espionage Express". Yeah I like the sound of that. We could go steal lyrics (Ish, Nic if you are reading this right now you know what I mean). Had a great time, everyone adjusted to both the guitar and the drums pretty quickly, great job guys. Singing was uhh... ehh... ok?

MTV Made has ANOTHER episode where a dude gets made into a ladies man. Except this guy was a football player, smart kid and had musical talent. still... WHAT ARE THE EFFING ODDS?! Two days in a row MTV Made has shown episodes on how a guy is turned into a ladies man! This is too much. Oh, yeah and I checked my email today and got a bloody chain letter, and we all know what the number one theme of chain letters is. *babyish voice start* Your crush will kiss/make out with/forever love/do the dirty deed/f*** you tonight if you pass your letter out to n people. everything I've been watching recently has been on the topic of love, relationships and all that other romantic crap. MTV Made had this episode on a dude who wanted to be made into a hip hop dancer to get the girl of his dreams, Star World is having reruns of Friends and they're at the Ross-Rachel lovey dubby storyline and even the latest episode of Arby n' The Chief, as of today, on YouTube features arbiter trying to get some chick he found on Halo. No luck today either, this time MTV Made shows a comic book geek get made into a ladies man (hell he helps 2 other equally geeky friends get chicks too). Oh yeah, Disney Channel was screening HSM2 as well, another love story.

Thrilling match, Liverpool go up twice, West Ham equalise twice (from 2 bloody set pieces, Rafa, get a remedy, quickly, PLEASE!). and then Fernando Jose Torres Sanz spoils WHU's day with a crazy header off of a great cross from... Ryan Babel? WTH?! Babel was actually useful, heck he even came on for marathon man Dirk Kuyt! (I almost cried when I saw the change) So, wonderful days for Pool but how did the other big dudes fare?

Thumping. and the Toure replacement, Vermaelen scores... TWICE! Two excellent goals as well.

anyways, great match, best match of the season so far. Man U goes up three times. Man City answer back uh... three times. Their last answer at 90 minutes too. game over? nope. still had 4 minutes of stoppage time. So Man U pressure the ball like mad dogs and eventually 2 old rivals (Giggs & Owen) create a play to put Man U in the lead!.. in the 95th minute? what? weren't there 4 minutes of stoppage time? doesn't that mean the game ends at 94th minute? and this goal didn't come at say 94 minutes and 30 or 50 seconds, nope it comes in at 95th min and 26 seconds. Yup. One week after the Breaking Point Screwjob we get *ominous voice start* "The Manchester SCREWJOB!" *ominous voice end*. So yup, Mark Hughes pretty pissed about it and goes on yapping about how he doesn't "know where (the eff) the refs found those 7 minutes". 7 minutes? that's harsh Mark, real harsh. Oh yeah, and supposedly some bugger irritated Craig Bellamy and got a knuckle sandwich for his troubles (he should be thankful Craig's golf caddy wasn't around at the time).

Yup, those bums can't do anything against Chelsea either.

CONCLUSION
Yeah I'm pretty happy with the results for the following reasons.
1. Liverpool won
2. Man City lost
3. Those bums lost.
4. Manchester Derby entertaining match.
5. Liverpool won

Wonder if this week gonna be any exciting? no video games coming out until october... damn
